The challenge
Jack Barr owns six hospitality businesses in Powell River. Beach Gardens Resort on the waterfront. Powell River Town Centre Hotel downtown, with Garden Court Restaurant and TC's Pub inside it. The Seasider Bistro. Salish Sea Spirits and Distillery. Six brands, six audiences, six marketing budgets, and no connection between any of them.
He had also spent three years with an agency that delivered very little while charging a great deal. The trust was gone.
What we did
Before asking for a contract, we ran a four day content shoot across all six properties at no charge. Proof first.
Once the engagement started, we restructured six brands into four managed accounts and built one strategy around a single idea: a guest at Beach Gardens should eat at The Seasider, discover Salish Sea Spirits, stop into TC's Pub, and book Town Centre Hotel on their next trip. Every brand promotes every other brand. Powell River itself became the product.

Why it worked
Small towns are ecosystems, not collections of competitors. Marketing them that way makes every business bigger.
